• CRUZ TAWNY is a Red Port with red berry notes that perfectly accompanies dried fruits, and melon. Its red colour has light coppery undertones. Its nose features aromas of strawberries and raspberries. Its taste reveals generous red and dried fruit flavours. CRUZ Tawny may be enjoyed at room temperature or chilled on the rocks for cocktail hour. CRUZ Tawny is prepared with red grape varieties and is aged in oak casks for four years.

The history of Port wines began in the Douro Valley in the northwest of Portugal. Wines of this type were already produced in this region while it was still part of Ancient Rome. But it was only in 1675 that the Port designation became truly recognized. It takes its name from the famous port city that was already exporting these wines to the rest of the world. In 2001, the Douro Valley was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
